The Islanders and Flyers face off at 1 p.m. at NYCB Live, home of Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Sunday's matinee is the Islanders first of the preseason and will be streamed live on NewYorkIslanders.com. Regional blackouts may apply.
Head Coach Doug Weight acknowledged that
returning to the Coliseum
gives Sunday's game more emotion than your average exhibition, but his job will be to begin player evaluations.
Sunday will be Weight's first look at the Jordan Eberle, John Tavares and Anders Lee line, which have skated as the top line during the Islanders first two days of training camp.

Mathew Barzal will likely skate between two veterans in Josh Bailey and Andrew Ladd, putting the rookie between two established NHLers.
On defense, Ryan Pulock will likely be paired with Nick Leddy, allowing the 2013 first-round pick to skate with another offensively-minded defenseman.
Kristers Gudlevskis and Christopher Gibson will be in net for the Islanders on Sunday. Check back with @NYIslanders closer to gametime for the starter.
As for the Flyers, Nolan Patrick - the second-overall pick in June's draft - will play in Sunday's game, as will Shayne Gostisbehere and Ivan Provorov.
