Andersen takes Stanley Cup to Legoland in Denmark

Frederik Andersen and the Stanley Cup clicked in Denmark on Wednesday.

The former Carolina Hurricanes goalie brought the trophy to Legoland Billund to celebrate his day with the Cup in his home country.

Andersen posed with Lord Stanley in front of various Lego creations, including a group shot with his family.

In a video posted by Legoland Billund on Instagram, Andersen kissed the Cup then lifted it over his head in front of a giant Lego man.

The Danish goalie is a huge fan of Legos and has featured drawings of Lego characters on his goalie masks throughout the years.

Later in the day, Andersen and the Cup traveled to his hometown of Herning where they were greeted by hundreds of fans.

Andersen posed for pictures and signed autographs for fans.

It has been a week of celebration for the Andersens. Over the weekend, the veteran goalie and his wife, Annalise, got married in Copenhagen.

On July 1, Andersen signed a one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers after playing the last five seasons with the Hurricanes.
