Juuso Valimaki and the Tri-City Americans continue to roll, picking up a 5-3 win over Victoria in Game 4 and sweeping the Royals in their second round match-up.
The Americans are undefeated in the WHL Playoffs, with a first round sweep of Dillon Dube and the Kelowna Rockets. They have outscored their opponents 46-22 in their first eight games of the postseason.
Valimaki, Calgary's first round selection in last year's draft, did not play in Games 3 and 4 of this series. Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory told CalgaryFlames.com the defenceman was "banged up" from Game 2 and is day-to-day. He was officially a game-time decision for Game 4 but the coaching staff opted to keep him out of Wednesday's tilt.
In six postseason skates this spring, Valimaki has one goal and five points.

Matthew Phillips, the Flames' sixth round pick in 2016, led the Royals in scoring in the playoffs with six goals and 19 points. He was also Victoria's leading scoring in the regular season, netting 48 goals and 112 points in 71 games.
Phillips had one assist in Game 4 on Wednesday night.
Glenn Gawdin and Swift Current tied their series at 2-2 with their 3-2 win over Moose Jaw on Wednesday. Gawdin picked up one assist and had five shots on net in Game 4.
