DARRYL SUTTER'S THOUGHTS:

"It was a helluva game"

ELIAS LINDHOLM ON TOUGH LOSS:

"They had a good game and obviously we've got to find a way to score more goals. But yeah, we're ready. We knew coming into the series that Dallas is good team ... but we've fought all year to have home ice in a Game 7."

ON RESETTING FOR THE NEXT ONE:

"Obviously, we would have liked to win this game, but it's a new day tomorrow and a game on Sunday. ... We're in a good spot. Just got to re-group and come back with a better effort on Sunday."

"We would have liked to end the series today"

ON CONFIDENCE/OPTIMISM FOR GAME 7:

"We've been a good team all year and we have a lot of talent, a lot of character and one of the best goalies in the league. And we have home ice. So, we're excited."

MICHAEL STONE ON THE DIFFERENCE:

"Gave up too many chances against. They capitalized. We didn't capitalize on ours. Just gave them too many."

ON UPCOMING GAME 7:

"We're still feeling good about it. We've got home ice. That's one of the advantages of the way we finished the regular season, so we're looking forward to a big Game 7."

"We didn't capitalize on (our chances)"

ON THE STARS' OFFENSIVE GAME:

"I think we need to do a better job of taking the middle away and limiting their speed through the neutral zone."

ON MAKING THE MOST OF HIS OPPORTUNITY:

"Took me a while. I think I'm just trying to contribute any way I can to help this team win. Didn't win tonight, so not enough."

ON LOSS OF CHRIS TANEV:

"Just means everybody's got to step up and try to do the things that he does. And he does a lot for this hockey team. It's going to take six guys to step up and contribute. We didn't get the job done tonight. We'll go from there."
