MATTHEW TKACHUK ON BEN STELTER:

ON ADJUSTMENTS FOR GAME 2:

"I don't know if I was surprised by it (15 goals in Game 1). When there's that many goals and that much offence, it's probably both teams would like to be more physical and play better in the neutral zone. Whether it's being physical there or being above guys, I thought - especially on our end - we gave up too much off the rush. Way too much. ... We'll definitely be making adjustments and I'm sure they will as well."

MIKAEL BACKLUND ON LESS RUN-AND-GUN:

"From our standpoint, we like to be that boring team that wins. We're fine with that."

ON WHAT TO EXPECT IN GAME 2:

"We had a good meeting this morning and after last game, too, we talked about it. We know we've got to do a better job when we're up. Overall, you can never be satisfied. It's a series. One game doesn't do it for you, so you've got to keep pushing and keep improving."

"Overall, you can never be satisfied"

DARRYL SUTTER ON PHYSICALITY:

Sutter referred to Game 1 was a "classic no-hitter" on Thursday
"The big reason it was like that in Game 1 was teams are afraid to take penalties. Oilers had four and we had three powerplays and those aren't good odds. They're running at a 30-some percent powerplay and we take four, we beat the odds the other night."

"That's how you win and how you lose"
