"It's been like this for a while now. It's good, though. It's good to be a part of these games, these big moments to try and compete and win games. If we get in, I think that's going to be good for us to carry over.
"It's a grind. It's not easy or anything. There's a bunch of teams that are fighting to get in and we're in that position. If you get in, there's still a long ways to go - so you've just got to control what's in front of you, try not to look at the big picture too much and take it one game at a time."

HUBERDEAU ON FOCUS RIGHT NOW:

"We need two wins. If we lose, we're out.
"I feel like we're getting used to it. (But) it's more about us. You don't want to be stressed - you want to play your own game and do what's best for you and play well. … We're all in it together. "His work ethic. He's a guy that works hard every day. He's a professional, he's been in the league for a lot years and you can tell. He's a great leader for our team and when he goes on the ice, he doesn't take one shift off."

"It would be a lot more fun if we had an 'X' beside 'Calgary' in the standings right now. But it's fun to be competing for a playoff spot. That's why there's 82 games in the season. All we can do is take care of our own business and it starts here tonight."

"He's had a good season. That's how you've got to look at it when you're a veteran and a guy who plays a role, fills a role. He's had a really good season.
"He's part of that captains' group, right? We lost the three captains in Sean (Monahan), Matthew (Tkachuk) and Johnny (Gaudreau). He was part of that group last year, so it was really important to try and take that next step."
