Poirier-2019-4

Flames prospect Jérémie Poirier has been tabbed as the QMJHL Defenceman of the Month for November.
The Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC native posted 10 points in seven appearances last month.

Poirier put up points in six of the seven games and had three multi-point games through November. He made Saint John franchise history on Nov. 14 when he scored just the second hat trick from a Sea Dogs defenceman.
Thanks to his torried output in November, Poirier is now tied for fourth in scoring among QMJHL defenders with 16 points in 15 games.
Calgary selected the defenceman in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft. In 2019-20, he scored 20 goals and 53 points in 64 games with Sain John. He now has 31 goals and 90 points in 140 career appearances in the QMJHL.
