Jankowski named to AHL All-Star Classic

The Heat rookie is tied for the team lead in scoring with 23 points on the year

STOCKTON, CA -- The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce with the American Hockey League that rookie forward Mark Jankowski has been named to the 2017 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Capital BlueCross to be held on January 29 and 30 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.

Jankowski, 22, has played 26 games for the Heat this season and is tied for the team lead with 23 points (8-15-23), a mark that also finds him tied for seventh among all rookie scorers in the AHL. The first-year Heat forward is one of 13 rookies to be selected league wide for the All-Star game and one of six rookie skaters given the nod from the Pacific Division Team.
