Anaheim will shoot for its third straight win after collecting back-to-back victories over Toronto and San Jose. The Ducks now sit 3-6-1 on the season, with points in three of their last six games (2-3-1).
"It was an up-and-down game," head coach Dallas Eakins said Tuesday. "There was a ton of emotion in the game, a ton of emotion on our bench. When you can bend and not break, and when you can learn to channel your emotions in the right direction, I think it's a great learning experience."

Henrique's 2 goals help Ducks earn a 6-5 SO win

Anaheim scored five goals on a season-best 44 shots in the win, highlighted by Henrique's first two goals of the season.
"It certainly gets the monkey off his back," Eakins said. "When he got that first one, the bench was loud. It wasn't like just an ordinary goal. And then for him to grab another one, even better."

The Ducks and Canucks begin a four-game season series tonight. Anaheim has won four straight games at Rogers Arena and earned points in seven straight games against Vancouver.
Prior to the game, the Canucks will honor defenseman Kevin Bieksa, who signed a one-day contract with Vancouver to officially retire as a Canuck. Bieksa played his final three NHL seasons with Anaheim, appearing in 211 games as a Duck.
The Canucks too have been through their fair share of struggles early in the season, going winless in their first seven games (0-5-2). They've bounced back well since then though, earning back-to-back wins before a loss to New Jersey on Tuesday.
"They outworked us. When they outwork you, the success is going to follow," Canucks coach
Bruce Boudreau said postgame
. "You give up a power-play goal in [eight] seconds, give up a short-handed goal, that's pretty well the ballgame."
