The Ducks will begin their selection process for the 2017-18 Ducks Power Players this Saturday, July 15, beginning at 10 a.m. The auditions, consisting of on-ice evaluations and panel interviews, will take place at THE RINKS- Anaheim ICE. The Anaheim Ducks Power Players support event presentation efforts at every Ducks home game and make appearances at various community events such as the Anaheim Ducks Golf Classic and Dux in Tux. The Ducks are searching for charismatic and outgoing individuals with excellent communication skills who are knowledgeable about the sport of hockey.

Registration will take place at 10 a.m., and the on-ice portion of the audition will commence at approximately 11 a.m. A panel of Ducks staff members will assess each participant's skating ability and personality. Following the on-ice evaluation, select candidates will be asked to engage in a panel interview with Ducks judges. Those who pass the on-ice evaluation and panel interview will move on to the formal interview process and be contacted at a later date.
Power Players responsibilities include greeting fans, on-ice maintenance throughout Ducks home games, and assisting with on-ice and in-stand promotions. The Power Players also serve as representatives of the Ducks organization at community events, viewing parties, media events and other social engagements.
Power Player hopefuls must be at least 19 years of age and must complete the online application to participate in Saturday's 2017-18 Power Players tryouts. Although skating experience is encouraged, it is not required.
