For the last several years, the Ducks have sold a number of items under a label they have dubbed Top Line Threads, a line of t-shirts created in 2013 that has expanded in selection ever since. The line was created in conjunction with the expansion of the Anaheim Ducks Team Store Powered by Reebok, part of the 15,000-square-foot Grand Terrace (now Shock Top Terrace) construction project at Honda Center.
The motivation behind creating the line was the creation of hockey-themed apparel that would appeal to every level of fan. "We saw a gap in our product line and wanted to offer something to the fans who support the team but don't necessarily wear jerseys," says Ducks Director of Merchandising Jill Bauer, who has been with the organization since its founding in 1993.
