SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA – Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the Coyotes have acquired a 2027 fourth-round draft choice from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for defenseman Troy Stecher and a 2024 seventh-round draft choice (originally from Boston).
Stecher registered 1-4-5 and 24 PIM (penalty minutes) in 47 games with the Coyotes this season. In eight NHL seasons, the 29-year-old defenseman has recorded 19-89-108 and 217 PIM in 487 career NHL games.
