Last season, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Connauton had a career-best 11-10-21 and 20 penalty minutes (PIM) in 73 games. The 28-year-old native of Edmonton, AB has registered 26-42-68 and 155 PIM in 260 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Dallas Stars and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Connauton was originally selected in the third round (83rd overall) by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
