Coyotes Acquire Ramage from Columbus

GLENDALE, ARIZONA ---Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have acquired defenseman John Ramage from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for future considerations.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Ramage has registered 2-7-9 and 37 penalty minutes (PIM) in 33 games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) this season. The 26-year-old native of Mississauga, ON has recorded 17-60-77 and 298 PIM in 277 career AHL games. He has also played in two career NHL games with the Calgary Flames and Blue Jackets.
Ramage was originally drafted by Calgary in the fourth round (103rd overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft.
