Clayton Keller scored and Karel Vejmelka made 35 saves, but the Vegas Golden Knights used three third period goals to capture the momentum en route to a 4-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday.
Keller's goal extended his point streak to six games. J.J. Moser earned the assist, picking up his eighth of the season.
Alex Pietrangelo, William Carrier, Mark Stone, and Reilly Smith each scored for Vegas (14-4-0), who snapped a two-game losing streak. Logan Thompson stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced.

Pietrangelo's power-play goal broke a scoreless tie at 12:21 of the second period, blasting a slapshot past Vejmelka. Carrier scored just 31 seconds into the third frame to give Vegas a two-goal cushion before Stone added another just over five minutes later after he batted the puck out of midair and into the net.
"It's always disappointing if you lose, and especially if you're close and not playing a bad game at all," Moser said. "Giving up those two goals was certainly not good."
The 32-year-old Pietrangelo finished with three points on the night.
Keller's tally came at 11:29 of the third, but Arizona was unable to get anything else past Thompson. Keller has now scored in three straight games.

The Coyotes generated other opportunities, but weren't able to cash in on any other scoring chances.
"We missed Grade-A Opportunities," head coach André Tourigny said. "We had other plays where we needed to be quicker with our shot to get the goalie in motion, stuff like that. There's a lot of work to do offensively."
Smith added his goal at 18:56 of the third to ice the game.
Vegas outshot Arizona 39-26, and finished 1-for-5 on the power play. The Coyotes, who entered Thursday's game with the league's fourth best percentage with the man advantage, were 0-for-4 on the night.
"We need to find the balance," Tourigny said. "I think we're playing good hockey, but the fact is we believe in ourselves, and we want to be able to win games.
"We're right there, and now we need to make the next step."
Former Coyotes forward Phil Kessel extended his ironman streak to 1,000 games. The 35-year-old forward played 208 of those with Arizona from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
The Coyotes' next game is in Nashville on Monday, and will be broadcast on Bally Sports Arizona (TV) and ESPN 620 AM (Radio). Puck drop is scheduled for 6 pm MST.
The club will host an open practice this Saturday at Ice Den Scottsdale. Festivities begin at 11:30 am, and the practice is open to fans.
