Arizona's special teams have been strong throughout its exhibition season, posting the sixth-best power-play percentage (27.8) and ninth-best penalty kill percentage (87.9) in the league. The Coyotes were 9-for-10 on the penalty kill last night against the Canucks.
Tourigny said the team will enjoy its time in Boise tonight.
"It is a once in a lifetime for us," Tourigny said, "so like we did during training camp (against the Blues in Wichita, Kan.), we'll take that as an experience, and for us it will be our last test before the season starts, so we're looking forward to it."
This is the second time the Coyotes and Golden Knights are playing in the preseason. Vegas
won the first game
, 4-3, at T-Mobile Arena on Oct. 4.
Players to Watch: Arizona was without a number of its top scorers yesterday, but will get a little relief tonight. Keep an eye out for Travis Boyd, Lawson Crouse, and Shayne Gostisbehere, who combined for 120 points last season.
ABOUT THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
The Golden Knights are 3-2-1, and are also playing in their final preseason game. Vegas has won two straight, most recently a 6-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.
Vegas is led by forwards Jack Eichel and Reilly Smith, who each have six points in three games. Michael Amadio and Zach Whitecloud have four points apiece.
Former Coyotes netminder Adin Hill is 1-1-1 with a 4.75 GAA and .881 SV%, and has split time with Logan Thompson, who has a 2.00 GAA and .922 SV%.
Player to Watch: Though lineups were not available at the time of publication, keep an eye out for center Jack Eichel, who did not play in the first meeting between the two teams. Eichel is plus-4 with three goals and three assists this preseason after logging 25 points in just 34 games last year.
