MONTREAL – Canadiens mascots are trading face-off dots for polka dots.

In a new video posted by the Montreal Jazz Festival on Wednesday, Youppi! and METAL! can be seen jamming in the Habs dressing room while dressed as members of the spotted microtonal rock duo Angine de Poitrine.

The promotional clip was shared as the viral band from Saguenay, QC gets set to headline the 46th edition of the festival with a free outdoor show in Montreal’s Place des Festivals on Saturday, June 27.

Along with the dotted outfits and trademark snouts, other touches seen in the Habs-themed cover of “Sarniezz” include a double-necked guitar fashioned with the help of a hockey stick, as well as gold “CH”-sign eyes. It’s clear that Youppi! and METAL! have a nose for details—at least until an equipment malfunction is revealed.
