BROSSARD -- The Canadiens practiced at the Bell Sports Complex on Friday.

There were several notable absentees, including forward Denis Gurianov, who traveled to Ottawa to settle some work visa issues. Gurianov was acquired from the Stars on Feb. 26.
Forward Christian Dvorak and defenseman Jordan Harris were also missing as they battle lower-body injuries. The pair didn't face the Rangers on Thursday night.
Following the on-ice session, head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that goaltender Jake Allen will start against the Devils on Saturday night at the Bell Centre.
Montreal will be looking to snap a five-game winless streak.
