MTL@STL: Five things you need to know

ST. LOUIS - Here are five things you need to know ahead of Saturday's game against the Blues at the Enterprise Center.

1.The Canadiens have every reason to feel good about themselves heading into another matchup with the defending Stanley Cup champions. Claude Julien's troops are coming off an impressive effort against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday with a 4-0 victory at the Bell Centre. Victor Mete, Joel Armia, Nick Suzuki and Brendan Gallagher all scored for Montreal, while Carey Price made 17 saves to register his first shutout of the season. It was also the 45th shutout of Price's career, moving him to within one of tying Hall-of-Famer Ken Dryden for third spot in franchise history in that department. For their part, Mete and Suzuki earned first and second-star nods, respectively, for each posting the first goals of their NHL careers.

2. It was just seven days ago that the Habs downed the Blues by a score of 6-3 at the Bell Centre. Julien's contingent rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the second period with four unanswered goals to ultimately come out on top. No doubt the Blues will be looking to exact revenge on their own home turf. St. Louis has dropped their last two games in extra time since falling to the Canadiens. Following a 3-2 road loss in overtime to the New York Islanders on Monday, the Blues lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Vancouver Canucks back in Missouri on Thursday. Forward Brayden Schenn leads Craig Berube's squad with five goals and eight points in seven games.

3. On Saturday, Julien confirmed one change to his lineup. Defenseman Christian Folin will play in place of Cale Fleury, who is sidelined with a minor injury. Fleury is listed as day-to-day, according to Julien. Carey Price will get the start for the Canadiens. Price has a 6-6-2 record in 14 career appearances against the Blues, along with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.

4.Both Max Domi and Jeff Petry are riding four-game point streaks heading into Saturday's contest. Domi boasts four points (2G, 2A) during that span, as does Petry (1G, 3A). You'll recall that Domi was pretty fired up during the previous encounter with St. Louis, so expect him to carry that same momentum into the final regular-season matchup between the two teams.

5. Puck drop on Saturday is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. ET. You can watch the game on TSN2 and RDS, and listen to all the action on TSN Radio 690 and 98,5 fm. Immediately following the game, the Canadiens will travel to Minnesota where they'll battle the Wild on Sunday at the Xcel Energy Center before returning home.
