Numbers Game: Canadiens @ Islanders

BROOKLYN - Here's a numerical look at the first game of the Canadiens' six-game, 12-day road trip on Friday, against the New York Islanders.

400 - Alex Galchenyuk suited up for his 400th career game on Friday. Going into the game, the 24-year-old had racked up 101 goals and 138 assists. The Canadiens' first-round pick (third overall) in 2012 played his first contest on January 19, 2013, and scored his first NHL goal the very next game.

4,965 - Number of kilometers the Canadiens have left to travel on their six-game, 12-day road trip. They head immediately to Boston, where they have a 5:00 p.m. dance with the Bruins on Saturday at TD Garden.
2 - Friday's contest was the second straight between the two teams. On Wednesday, the Habs beat the Islanders 3-1 at the Bell Centre.
88 - The Canadiens scored the game's first goal just 88 seconds after puck drop. Brendan Gallagher deflected an Alex Galchenyuk shot from the point that found its way past Islanders netminder Jaroslav Halak to put the visitors up 1-0. It was the Habs' second shot of the night.

15 - Galchenyuk ended a 15-game goal-scoring drought in the second period. After David Schlemko rung it off the post, the puck bounced into the crease for No. 27 to bury it and finish the job for his 13th of the season. Galchenyuk added his 14th goal of the season 8:14 later, off a beautiful feed from Mike Reilly, and added an empty-netter for his second-career hat trick late in the third.

1 - Reilly earned his first point as a Hab with an assist on the second Galchenyuk goal. The Chicago native had two goals and eight assists in 38 games with the Minnesota Wild this season before being acquired by the Canadiens at the trade deadline.
3 - The Islanders' third goal of the night, scored by Brock Nelson, made it 3-3 with 3.3 to play in the second period.
1 - Noah Juulsen scored his first career NHL goal against the Islanders. The 20-year-old blue-liner was playing in his fifth NHL game, and the goal was also his first NHL point. Juulsen was the Habs' first-round pick (26th overall) in 2015.
