Angela Price Ronald McDonald House

MONTREAL - Canadiens players' wives and girlfriends made a special visit to the Montreal Ronald McDonald House on Tuesday along with the Canadiens Children's Foundation.

The House provides a home away from home to families of sick children who must travel to Montreal so their child can be treated at a nearby hospital, and the players' spouses paid a visit to tour the facilities, pose for photos, and carve and decorate pumpkins to brighten their day.
Eight spouses made the trip to the House, including Emilia Harjunen (Joel Armia), Hanna Bjursten (Christian Folin), Angela Price (Carey), Bailey Weber (Shea), Courtney Petracheck (Victor Mete), Sydney Thompson (Nate), Sarah Byron (Paul), and Jaclyn Phillips (Keith Kinkaid).

Things got a little 'hairy' with some of the designs…

...while others were a little more recognizable.

In all, the visit was a welcome change of pace for guests of the House, which welcomes nearly 3,000 families each year.

The Montreal Ronald McDonald House has 50 rooms, each accommodating up to 3 people. While the average stay at a Ronald McDonald House is 12.5 days long, some families have been living there for more than 2 years. Since opening in 1982, the House has maintained a nightly rate of $10 per family.
