MONTREAL -- The 2018 NHL Trade Deadline came and went on Monday, leaving the Canadiens with a couple of new faces in the organization, and well-positioned to take advantage of what should be a deep 2018 NHL Draft.
Here's what you need to know about the transactions that were:

10 -- Number of picks the Canadiens now hold heading into the 2018 NHL Draft in Dallas. The Habs have not held double-digit selections since 2003, and enter this year's event with the most picks since 2007, when the club was at the podium nine times -- selecting the likes of Ryan McDonagh (12), Max Pacioretty (22), and P.K. Subban (43), among others.
8% -- Percentage of the NHL's top-60 prospects -- well over the NHL's average of 3% -- the Canadiens could claim in 2018. Half of the Habs' 10 picks this year come in the first two rounds, with four coming in the second.
3 -- Number of prospects who joined the Canadiens organization on Sunday and Monday -- defensemen Rinat Valiev and Mike Reilly, and forward Kerby Rychel. Valiev and Rychel reported to the Rocket on Monday, while Reilly joined the Habs in Brossard on Tuesday.
2 -- Number of Habs who left the fold. Two current players -- Tomas Plekanec and Joe Morrow -- were this year's deadline casualties, being sent to Toronto and Winnipeg, respectively.
26 -- Average age in years of the Canadiens' current roster, down from 29 years old on opening night. Youngsters Nikita Scherbak and Noah Juulsen are no longer eligible to be loaned to the AHL between now and the end of the season and will remain in Montreal for the remainder of the year. Charlie Lindgren, however, is eligible to be returned to Laval, and overall, the Habs have four recalls remaining (not including emergency recalls) between now and April 7.
