Czarnik has been a dominant force for the P-Bruins offense all season, resulting in a team-high 21 goals, 41 assists and 62 points in 59 games played. He has set new career highs in goals and points while tying his career high in assists with four games still remaining in the regular season. The 25-year-old is not only one of the top point producers on the team, but in the league, as well, ranking third in the AHL in scoring. He has racked up points at a nearly point-per-game pace throughout his 152-game AHL career, accumulating 47 goals and 101 assists for 148 points.
The Detroit native has recorded 16 multi-point games this season, including seven three-point nights. His 11 power-play goals top the team and tie him for sixth in the league in that category. His high level of play resulted in him being selected to represent Providence at the 2018 AHL All-Star Classic in January, where he tallied three points on two goals and an assist. He has helped lead the P-Bruins to a 41-24-3 record, putting them in third place in the Atlantic Division as they seek a sixth-straight appearance in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Czarnik's performance has not gone unnoticed by the varsity club, as he has been recalled for 10 games in Boston this season, notching four assists, one of which was on Danton Heinen's game-winning goal in Detroit on February 6. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound forward has totaled five goals and 12 assists for 17 points in 59 career NHL games.
