ST. LOUIS - Blues forward Alexander Steen has been placed on injured reserve with a left shoulder injury and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Steen sustained the injury in the first period of Monday's 3-0 win against the Philadelphia Flyers. He was hit in open ice by Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas in the neutral zone and played just 2 minutes and 38 seconds before leaving the game.
In 32 games this season, Steen has posted six goals and nine assists (15 points).
