WINNIPEG - An injury on defense means Jay Bouwmeester will be back in the lineup Monday when the Blues meet the Winnipeg Jets at 7 p.m. at Bell MTS Place (FSMW, KMOX).
Bouwmeester will return to the lineup after missing one game as a healthy scratch. Robert Bortuzzo flew back to St. Louis for a medical evaluation of a lower-body injury . "It's a pretty good luxury to have a guy like Bouwmeester coming back into the lineup," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said. "Obviously that was a real difficult decision (to scratch Bouwmeester last game). Those are tough ones when you have a guy as professional as him and especially with the career he's had. You know how difficult that is for him. I'm happy he's back in the lineup and confident he's going to do real well for us." Bouwmeester is expected to be paired with Joel Edmundson in tonight's game. Yeo said the forward lines will remain the same.
