Changes are coming to two of the St. Louis Blues' forward lines on Saturday when the team meets the Carolina Hurricanes at 6:30 p.m. CT (BSMW, 101 ESPN).
"Just moving some lines around, trying to get maybe a little bit more consistent scoring and balance throughout our lineup," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said Friday before the team boarded a flight to Raleigh, NC. "It's just something where I think things have been fine, but we're looking to improve, that's all."

Ryan O'Reilly had two new linemates - Jordan Kyrou and Pavel Buchnevich - in Friday's practice, while David Perron shifted to a line with Brandon Saad and Tyler Bozak.
"I thought with O'Reilly and Saad coming off COVID (protocols), them together with Perron, the energy was low," Berube said. "Kyrou and Buchnevich (have) good energy right now, they're playing good hockey. That's why I put them with O'Reilly. Saad and Perron have some pretty good chemistry together the way they play the game. Saad has good speed, Perron's a shooter and 'Bozie' can distribute the puck and do all the rights things coming out of their zone."
Berube said he has liked what he's seen this season from the Ivan Barbashev - Robert Thomas - Vladimir Tarasenko line, so that one remains the same. Dakota Joshua took a maintenance day and did not practice Friday but is expected to center the fourth line with James Neal and Klim Kostin again on Saturday.
Joel Hofer will start Saturday as the Blues prepare for back-to-back games over the weekend.
