ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has activated defenseman Robert Bortuzzo from injured reserve.

Bortuzzo, 33, has missed the past eight games due to a lower-body injury.
This season, the 6-foot-4, 216-pound defenseman has appeared in 30 games, scoring one goal and serving 25 penalty minutes.
Currently in his ninth season with the Blues, the Thunder Bay, Ontario, native has collected 70 points (19 goals, 51 assists) and 480 penalty minutes in 520 career NHL regular-season games.
