The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned goaltender Jet Greaves to the Cleveland Monsters, the club's American Hockey League affiliate, General Manager and Alternate Governor Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Greaves was added to the roster on emergency recall yesterday and served as the club's backup goaltender against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Greaves, 21, has posted an 18-18-4 record with a 3.18 goals-against average (GAA), .898 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout in 44 career AHL games with the Monsters since making his pro debut in 2021-22. The 6-0, 184-pound native of Cambridge, Ontario is 6-6-2 with a 3.69 GAA and .885 SV% in 15 outings with the team in 2022-23. He was signed by the Blue Jackets to a three-year, entry level contract on Feb. 20, 2022.
