While pressing heavy defense throughout Saturday's matchup against the Wild, the Blackhawks fell short in the third period after letting up two goals and suffered another loss with a 3-1 result.
Lukas Reichel felt the team remained aggressive with their defensive style to keep themselves in the matchup after outshooting them 17-16 through the first two periods.
"It was more of a defensive game at 1-1 until the last minute, I would say," Reichel said. "I think it was a lot of D-zone [time] and both teams had their chances, not like crazy, high, danger chances. So, it was like tight game that could [have gone] both ways."
