The Blackhawks ended their six-game road trip with a 4-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday afternoon in Florida.
Alex DeBrincat scored the lone Chicago goal and Malcolm Subban made 25 saves as the Blackhawks dropped their fourth straight game.

STAT OF THE NIGHT: DeBrincat's tally was his team-leading 16th of the season and fifth in seven games against the Lightning.

The Lightning opened the scoring off an offensive zone keep in the first. From the corner, Steven Stamkos cound Alex Killorn in the high slot, where the winger found Brayden Point at the top of the crease for a quick 1-0 advantage.

2nd - 1:53 - Anthony Cirelli (Mikhail Sergachev, Victor Hedman)

Anthony Cirelli doubled the home side's lead early in the second, taking a feed from Mikhail Sergachev in behind the Blackhawks defense and roofing a backhander on an abbreviated breakaway for a 2-0 scoreline.

2nd - 14:15 - Yanni Gourde (Blake Coleman, Victor Hedman)

Yanni Gourde added to the Lightning lead late in the second with a piece of individual skill. The winger walked into the zone, turned the corner and put a one-handed backhand shovel on goal before collecting his own rebound and putting it past Malcolm Subban for the 3-0 advantage.

2nd - 18:21 - Steven Stamkos (Alex Killorn, Victor Hedman) -- PPG

Steven Stamkos scored a rebound opportunity of his own a few minutes later. Alex Killorn kicked a rebound in front out to Stamkos at the side of the net, where the captain put a low angle chance past the outstretched Malcolm Subban for a 4-0 lead.

The visitors got on the board in the third as Dominik Kubalik, from behind the net, found Alex DeBrincat in the high slot. The winger patiently picked his spot for his team-leading 16th goal of the season to cut the Lightning lead to 4-1.
