The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled goaltender Jean-Francois Berube (ZHAWN-fran-SWUH beh-ROO-bay) from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs and assigned goaltender Jeff Glass to Rockford.
A native of Repentigny, Quebec, Berube has posted a 7-8-0 mark with a 2.37 goals against average, .920 save percentage and two shutouts in 15 appearances with the IceHogs this season. He has allowed just two goals in each of his last two starts for Rockford. The 26-year-old made one appearance with the Blackhawks earlier this season on Dec. 6 at Washington, stopping 12 of 14 shots.

In 21 career National Hockey League games, spanning two seasons (2015-17) with the New York Islanders, Berube was 6-4-3 with a 3.11 GAA and .900 SV%. He was signed by the Blackhawks on July 1, 2017.
Glass made 14 appearances with the Blackhawks, posting a 3-6-3 record, 3.31 GAA and .898 SV%. Prior to being recalled, he was 10-4-2 with a 2.60 GAA and .917 SV% in 18 games with the IceHogs.
