The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have assigned defensemen Dillon Fournier, Ville Pokka and Viktor Svedberg to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.
Svedberg, 25, has skated in three preseason games this year, tallying one assist. Pokka, 22, has appeared in four preseason games this year. Fournier (FOHRN-yay), 22, was Chicago's second-round (48th overall) selection in the 2012 NHL Draft.
The team's active roster now includes 17 forwards, 8 defensemen and three goaltenders.
