Blackhawks activate Kruger from injured reserve

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated forward Marcus Kruger from injured reserve.

Kruger, 26, recorded two goals and eight assists in 39 games for the Blackhawks this season before being placed on injured reserve on Jan. 1. The Stockholm, Sweden, native has posted 98 points (30G, 68A) in 367 career NHL games, all with Chicago.

The Blackhawks return to action tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the United Center at 7:30 p.m. (CT). The game can be seen on CSN, streamed live online at CSNChicago.com (CSNChicago.com/BlackhawksStream) and the NBC Sports App, and heard on WGN Radio and Univision America (WRTO 1200 AM.
