Brassard was part of a three-team trade that sent the center to the Pittsburgh Penguins and involved the Vegas Golden Knights. Ottawa received Penguins defenseman Ian Cole; it is unknown if he will be available to play.
The Flyers, 8-0-2 in their past 10 games, have not lost in regulation since a 4-3 loss at the New Jersey Devils on Feb. 1. Philadelphia is third in the Metropolitan Division, one point behind the Washington Capitals and two points behind first-place Pittsburgh.
Goaltender Petr Mrazek could start after making 19 saves in his Philadelphia debut, a 2-1 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday. He was acquired by the Flyers on Monday in a trade with the Detroit Red Wings.
Goaltender Mike Condon could start for the Senators, who will look to end a three-game losing streak.
