Winter Clothing Drive

ST. PAUL --The Minnesota Wild today announced it will host a winter clothing drive, in partnership with Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, to benefit residents at Dorothy Day Place on Saturday, Dec. 14 when the team takes on the Philadelphia Flyers at Xcel Energy Center. Winter clothing and monetary donations will be collected at Gates 1-5 from 4:15 p.m. until midway through the first period.
Catholic Charities needs donations of new winter coats, hats, mittens or gloves, scarves and socks for adults, both men and women. With a long winter ahead, these donations will be critical for individuals who cannot afford adequate winter wear.

Additionally, Minnesota Wild Executive Advisor Mike Modano and former Minnesota Wild captain Wes Walz will visit Walmart in Eagan, Minn. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 to shop for winter clothing to donate to residents at Dorothy Day Place.
Saturday's game, presented by Toyota, begins at 6 p.m. CT on FOX Sports North and KFAN 100.3 FM.
