LAS VEGAS -- The Wild hits the road for the final time before the All-Star break on Monday when it plays the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena.
The trip to the Nevada desert marks the Wild's second-ever trip to play the Golden Knights just steps off the Vegas Strip. Minnesota scored a 4-2 win last March on the back of Vegas native Jason Zucker, who scored one goal and added an assist.
Minnesota enters off a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday to cap Hockey Day Minnesota. Jordan Greenway and Zach Parise scored goals 89 seconds apart in the first period and goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 19 saves.
The goal for Parise was his 20th of the season, the ninth time in his NHL career he's reached the 20-goal plateau and the first time since 2015-16.
Victor Rask, playing in his first game with the Wild following a trade from the Carolina Hurricanes, and Pontus Aberg assisted on Parise's goal for their first points in a Wild uniform.
Minnesota could get another centerman back from injury. Eric Fehr practiced with the Wild in St. Paul on Sunday and is with the team on the trip west. The initial belief was that Fehr would be out until at least the bye week, which follows next weekend's All-Star Game in San Jose.
But WIld coach Bruce Boudreau said Fehr is further along in his recovery from a lower-body injury than initially feared. Fehr, who has five points and 10 points in 41 games and is a critical penalty killer.
"There's a chance because he's looking better than we anticipated he would," Boudreau said.

Jonathan Marchessault had a hat trick and William Karlsson had a goal and an assist in the victory.
Marchessault and Karlsson lead the Golden Knights with 17 and 16 goals, respectively, this season. Former Wild forward Alex Tuch leads the club with 38 points.
Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has started 43 games and has a 27-12-4 record with a 2.49 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage.
