The Wild fell in the second contest, 2-1, Sunday in Des Moines (11/21). Boldy scored the lone goal with assists from defenseman Jon Lizotte and Rau. Goaltender Dereck Baribeau made 27 saves.
Rossi leads Iowa in scoring with 14 points (3-11=14). Rau (5-7=12), forward Nick Swaney (7-5=12) and defenseman Joe Hicketts (5-7=12) rank tied for second with 12 points each. Rossi ranks tied for third in assists and fifth in scoring among AHL rookies. Swaney ranks tied for third in goals and plus/minus rating and tied for seventh in scoring among AHL rookies.
Hicketts ranks tied for first amongst AHL defensemen in goals and game-winning goals (2) and tied for fifth in scoring. Forward Connor Dewar ranks tied for first in the AHL in shorthanded goals (2) and Rau ranks tied for first in GWG (3).
Hammond is 4-1-1 with a 2.33 goals-against average, a .905 save percentage and ranks tied for first in the AHL with three shutouts. Baribeau is 4-3-0 with a 2.59 goals-against average and a .912 save percentage.
