ST. PAUL, Minn. --The Minnesota Wild announced yesterday that newly acquired forward Pat Maroon will wear sweater number 20 with the National Hockey League (NHL) club.
Maroon, 35, becomes the sixth member of the Wild to wear the number in team history and the first to wear it since Ryan Suter (2013-21). He was acquired on July 2, 2023 from the Tampa Bay Lightning, along with forward Max Cajkovic, in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Tampa Bay will retain 20 percent of Maroon's contract.
