Wild.com's Dan Myers gives three takeaways from the Wild's 4-1 defeat by the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday night:

1. Minnesota lost the game, but that wasn't the immediate concern afterward.
With 4:29 remaining in the second period, defenseman Ryan Suter was checked into the boards behind the Dallas net. Suter appeared to hit his right ankle solidly against the end wall, falling to the ice in pain moments later.
One of the toughest players in the League, Suter needed assistance to get back to the Wild bench, where he was helped to the dressing room for a look by team medical personnel.
He did not return to the game and his status moving forward is unknown.
2. Devan Dubnyk was rock solid on the night, keeping Minnesota in the game.
Dubnyk made critical stops on several grade-A chances for the Stars, stifling Alexander Radulov on a pair of odd-man rushes and at least two more point-blank chances in the second period alone.

Gemel Smith, Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn were also victims of robbery on Dubnyk's part, as the Wild goaltender kept Minnesota within a pair headed to the third period.

The teams traded goals in the opening couple minutes of the third, but the Wild was unable to capitalize on several significant chances of its own to get the game even.
Dubnyk finished with 32 saves on the night.
3. On the final day of March, Zach Parise reached double digits in goals.
Since March 1, Parise has scored 10 goals, a total that ranks among the best in the NHL.
His goal on Saturday was a power-play marker that came moments after Radek Faksa's short-handed goal 19 seconds into the third period made it a three-goal game. The tally gave the Wild considerable jump; Minnesota had several prime chances to move closer or even tie the game over the next 10 minutes, including a pair of open nets where the Wild just couldn't quite pounce on a loose puck.

Parise now has 13 goals in 39 games, a track that would put him near a 30-goal pace had a back injury not cost him the first half of the regular season.
