Wild.com's Dan Myers gives three takeaways from the Wild's 6-4 win against the Ottawa Senators at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Wednesday night:

1. At times, it wasn't pretty, but the Wild snapped its brief two-game skid.
The Wild built a 4-1 lead through two periods and looked like it was ready to coast to an easy victory.
But the Senators would not go quietly into the night, scoring three times in the first 13 minutes of the third, driving goaltender Devan Dubnyk from the game with 7:05 left in regulation.
The goalie change seemed to spark the Wild, as it re-took the lead 1:07 later by doing something it hadn't done much of in the third period... played in the Senators end.
2. Matt Dumba continued his torrid scoring streak.
The defenseman scored a pair of goals on Wednesday and now has 10 on the season just 22 games into the campaign.

It's the fourth consecutive season Dumba has reached double digits in goal scoring and puts him just four goals behind his total of 14 from all of last season, a number which was his career best.
In case you were wondering, the franchise record for goals by a defenseman is 17 by Brent Burns in 2010-11.
3. Mikael Granlund was dealing some serious sauce.
The Finnish winger had things going on the power play, serving up a pair of beauty set ups that managed to find their way through traffic.

His first was a cross-zone feed from the right-wing half wall over a pair of Senators sticks that managed to settle right on the blade of Dumba's stick for a quick one timer. The assist was the 200th of Granlund's NHL career.

His next didn't cover as much distance, but found its way right to the blade of Staal for another one-time blast from the high slot.
