NEW YORK -- Minnesota Wild center Mikael Granlund, Carolina Hurricanes right wing Sebastian Aho and Los Angeles Kings goaltender Peter Budaj have been named the NHL's "Three Stars" for the week ending Feb. 5.

Granlund, the week's second star, ranked T-1st in the NHL with six points (3-3=6) and a plus-6 rating in three games last week to extend his point streak to a franchise record and NHL season-high 12 games (5-12=17) and keep the Wild atop the Western Conference standings. He tallied an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win at Edmonton to tie the franchise record point streak of 10 games, recorded an assist in a 5-1 loss at Calgary on Wednesday and collected his first career hat trick, a career-high four points (3-1=4) and tied career best with a plus-4 rating in a 6-3 win at Vancouver on Saturday.
Granlund leads Minnesota in scoring with 48 points (15-33=48) in 51 games and has set new career highs in goals and points and tied his career high in assists this season. He ranks T-3rd in the NHL with a plus-30 rating, T-7th in assists and T-12th in scoring.
