The Dallas Stars will honor veterans of the military and their families on Veterans Appreciation Night, Saturday, Feb. 24 against the Winnipeg Jets at 6 p.m. Lockheed Martin, Albertsons and Tom Thumb will each provide over 100 tickets for veterans and their families to attend the game against the Jets.

The first 15,000 fans will receive complimentary Dallas Stars camouflage caps courtesy of City Credit Union and proceeds from the 50/50 Raffle presented by Moxie's will benefit Wish For Our Heroes, which works to provide resources to the "average" military member, in order to make their deployments a little easier, and to improve the quality of their family lives while home or during deployment.
The Stars will take the ice for warmups against the Jets wearing camouflage jerseys. The one-of-a-kind jerseys will be auctioned off following the game at

, with proceeds benefitting 22Kill in honor of Stephen Jackel. 22KILL works to raise awareness to the veteran suicide epidemic that is plaguing our country, and educate the public on PTSD and other mental health issues. 22KILL also partners with other organizations nationwide to be able to provide a variety of programs and resources for veterans and first responders.
Lockheed Martinwill be donating their tickets to theJoint Reserve Base Fort Worth and will benefit Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Soldiers from the base.Albertsons and Tom Thumb will be donating their tickets to Wish For Our Heroes.
