Martin Hanzal, who has missed the last five games with a muscle strain, will return to the lineup tonight when the Dallas Stars take on the New York Rangers at American Airlines Center.

Hanzal, who has missed a total of 20 games due to injuries this season, centered a line with Remi Elie and Brett Ritchie on his wings at this morning's skate at the AAC.
With the center returning, Jason Dickinson will come out of the lineup and be a scratch at forward along with Gemel Smith.
There will be no changes on defense for tonight's game. Julius Honka will play a fourth straight game on the third pair with Stephen Johns and Dillon Heatherington will be the scratch on the blue line.
Ben Bishop will be back in goal after sitting out Saturday's 6-1 win over Minnesota due to a facial injury.

The Stars will be looking for a third straight win, but they will be facing a desperate Rangers team that is coming off a 5-2 loss at Nashville for its fifth loss in the last six games and is now on the outside looking in at the Eastern Conference playoff race.
"We've got on the right side of things the last couple of games, but we are going to have a [ticked] off team coming in with New York," Bishop said. "They lost the last game, had a team meeting thing after the game, so they are going to be ready to go. We can't sit here and be happy with the last two games where we won by a bigger margin.
"We've got to get ready for a tough game. That's where you can see where you are, when you can put those games away, get ready for the next tough one and not rest on your highs."
The Stars (30-19-4) are in the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference heading into tonight's game. They are three points behind St. Louis for third place in the Central Division and have a four-point lead over the ninth-place team in the West playoff race.
"I told the guys this morning that opponent doesn't matter anymore. When you've got this few games left every game matters," said Stars coach Ken Hitchcock. "There is going to be big swings of momentum on playoffs here in the next couple of weeks, especially with all these division games coming up. These points matter as much as the ones on Thursday [against Chicago]."

Rangers Watch

Henrik Lundqvist is the likely starter in net for the Rangers tonight. He is 21-15-4 with a 2.72 goals against average and .918 save percentage. Forward Jimmy Vesey (concussion) and defenseman Marc Staal (cervical strain) did not skate this morning after being injured in Saturday's 5-2 loss at Nashville. Neither player is expected to play tonight and will join forwards Pavel Buchnevich (upper body) and Chris Kreider (rib surgery) and D Kevin Shattenkirk (knee surgery) on the team's injured list. The Rangers (25-22-5) come into tonight's game with eight losses in their last 11 games (3-8-0).
