DALLAS --Officially in the second half of their season, the Stars delivered an emphatic 6-1 victory over the Boston Bruins in front of 17,954 at American Airlines Center on Sunday. The response was swift following a 5-0 defeat two nights ago to the Washington Capitals.

Five different players scored for the Stars, who jumped out to a 5-0 lead to improve to 23-17-2 (48 points) on the season. The Stars also got back to their winning ways at home, boosting their record at AAC to 15-5-1.

Among the scorers was Roope Hintz, who set a career high for goals in a season with 20. Also finding the back of the net were Alexander Radulov and Jamie Benn, both of which ended lengthy goal droughts. Radulov busted a 28-game slump having last scored on Oct. 27 vs. Vegas. Benn snapped an 11-game skid without a point with his goal in the second period to make it 4-0.
