Hertl-Knights-SAPCenter

Welcome to the Gameday Blog, the one-stop shop for San Jose Sharks fans on every playoff gameday.
Tonight, it's winner-takes-all in Game 7 of the first round in the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center.
Sharks are coming off a victorious Game 6 double-overtime win in Las Vegas. Tomas Hertl netted the game-winner short-handed to force a Game 7. The winner tonight's game will face the Colorado Avalanche in Round Two.
Entering tonight's contest, Joe Thornton is one assist away from 100 postseason assists to become the 24th player in NHL history to reach the mark. Thornton would also become just the third active player in the NHL to hit 100 playoff assists. This is just the 11th Game 7 in franchise history for San Jose.
Not only is Team Teal in #PlayoffMode, but the entire organization and City of San Jose have also kicked it up a notch. If you aren't attending tonight's game, there are still plenty of ways for you to join in on the playoff festivities.
