As the Ottawa Senators battle for a playoff berth down the final stretch run of the season, the team wants to reward its loyal fans with chances to win the biggest prizes of the year.
Fan Appreciation Week, presented by Canadian Tire, begins April 5, when the Senators welcome the Carolina Hurricanes on the second end of a back-to-back at home.
Each day, fans will also have a chance to enter the daily social contest. Each day brings a new exciting prize, thanks to CIBC, Canadian Tire, Lone Star, Bell, Molson, and Sport Chek.
As the calendar flips to April and the weather finally feels like spring, the plaza will also return to the plaza outside Gate 1 at Canadian Tire Centre! The plaza will open at 2:30 p.m. ahead of a 5 p.m. game on April 5, with a performance from Ottawa Valley country act Rainwater Whiskey, inflatables, face paint, food and beverage specials, and more!
On April 7, the plaza will open at 4:30 p.m. ahead of a 7 p.m. start against the Tampa Bay Lightning. During the game, you could also have the chance to win game-worn jerseys from the Senators.
On April 9, the plaza will open at 4:30 p.m. ahead of a 7 p.m. start against the Florida Panthers.
The Sens are hosting a Fan Appreciation Skate on April 12, courtesy of Canadian Tire. Fans can skate on the Canadian Tire Centre ice, with tickets available online (all proceeds to benefit the Senators Foundation).
And on April 15, the plaza will open at 5 p.m. ahead of a 7:30 p.m. game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Around the concourse, hundreds of prizes — including gift cards from Meal Prep Ottawa, Canadian Tire, and Gabriel Pizza — will be handed out before and during the games. In-game contests will reward fans with more gift cards, and the chance to win pizza for a year.
