20230216 Amerks Update Overlay Mersch

The Rochester Americans are ready for a busy stretch in their schedule, starting with a three-games-in-three-days weekend that begins Friday.
The Amerks will host the North Division-leading Toronto Marlies at Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. for the first game in a home-and-home series that wraps up Saturday afternoon in Toronto.
Then Rochester will head back home to play Syracuse on Sunday at 3:05 p.m.
The team is coming off a 2-1 loss in Cleveland on Tuesday and currently sits in fifth place in the North Division with 47 points through 44 games. They're 21 points back of Toronto, but just six points behind second-place Utica.

Rochester has another three-in-three next week.
"It's going to be critical this week, how you manage the games and that you're not wasting energy," Amerks head coach Seth Appert told Amerks.com. "We have four-in-six this week and then starting a week later we have a six-in-nine. So, it's a big stretch of games and we're at that point of the season where every game is critically important right now."

Sunday is Kids Day

The Amerks will complete end the weekend with a matinee Kids Day celebration.
Sunday's game will feature a total Kids Takeover, where youth fans will have the opportunity to serve in various game-day roles, such as public address announcer, in-game host, off-ice official, honorary coach and equipment manager, while one lucky fan will have the chance to join Amerks Hall-of-Fame broadcaster Don Stevens in the broadcast booth to call the day's action.
All kids' tickets (ages 3-12, no ticket required for 2 and under) for the game start as low as just $10 with the purchase of an adult ticket. Click here for more details.
