Sabres recall Pilut from Amerks

The Buffalo Sabres have recalled defenseman Lawrence Pilut from the Rochester Americans, the team announced Tuesday.
The Sabres play the New York Islanders tonight at UBS Arena. The game can be streamed exclusively on ESPN+ and Hulu beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Buffalo was without defensemen Mattias Samuelsson and Riley Stillman for its 3-2 loss to Edmonton on Monday. Both are considered day to day with upper-body injuries.
Pilut, 27, has three points (1+2) in 17 games with the Sabres this season. He has 19 points (3+16) in 30 games with the Amerks.
Sabres coach Don Granato will address the media pregame around 6 p.m.
