FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Colin Miller will return to the lineup for the Sabres when they visit the Florida Panthers tonight at FLA Live Arena.
Miller has missed seven games since entering COVID-19 protocol on March 27. He resumed skating with the Sabres on Tuesday.
Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. The puck drops at 7.
Here are five things to know.

1. The lineup

Miller join the lineup on defense in place of Casey Fitzgerald.
Dustin Tokarski will start in goal.

2. The road trip

The Sabres opened their four-game road trip with a 5-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. They led 3-1 in the second period before the Hurricanes scored four unanswered goals.
"What I said before the game is we need games like this," Sabres coach Don Granato said.
"Hopefully the pressure was on us tonight. The atmosphere was outstanding, it was a playoff feel and certainly a team that's extremely hungry for two points. We got one of their best games effort-wise and it's a game our guys can actually learn from."

3. Power signs entry-level contract

The Sabres signed defenseman Owen Power to a three-year, entry-level contract prior to the game. Power's sophomore season at the University of Michigan concluded with an overtime loss to Denver in the Frozen Four on Thursday.
Power is expected to meet the team in Tampa on Saturday. He will likely make his NHL debut in Toronto on Tuesday night.
"It's exciting," Granato said. "Owen's a guy I've watched for a number of years now and was pretty excited that we were able to draft him. … Looking forward to it. He's supposed to arrive tomorrow so he'll get integrated right away."

4. Thompson's streak

Tage Thompson extended his point streak to four games with a goal and an assist against the Hurricanes on Thursday. He leads the Sabres with 57 points (32+27) in 68 games this season.

5. Scouting the Panthers

The Panthers erased a four-goal deficit during the third period of their 7-6 overtime victory over the Maple Leafs on Tuesday, their second four-goal comeback in a four-day span. Only one other team has completed two such comebacks in a single season in NHL history.
Jonathan Huberdeau has 18 points (7+11) during a nine-game point streak.
Sergei Bobrovsky will start in goal.
