Dylan Cozens said the Buffalo Sabres will look to leave a strong impression going into the summer during their season finale against the Chicago Blackhawks at KeyBank Center on Friday.
There should be plenty of energy in the building. The Sabres are hosting Fan Appreciation Night while continuing to celebrate Rick Jeanneret, who will call the final game of his stories career.
"Last one of the year, we want to come out and just play it like it's any other game and play as hard as we can and try and leave a good impression going into the offseason and into next year," Cozens said.
Here are five things to know.

1. RJ's Last Call

Fans in attendance at KeyBank Center can listen to RJ call the game in real time using the Mixhalo app, which can be downloaded here.
Those watching at home can tune into the game on MSG, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. and puck drop scheduled for just after 7. RJ will also have the radio call on WGR 550.

2. Tokarski in goal

Dustin Tokarski will start in goal for the second straight. Michael Houser, who was recalled from ECHL Cincinnati on Friday morning, will back up with Craig Anderson out due to an injury.

3. The lineup

Kyle Okposo will miss the game due to the injury he sustained in practice on Monday. Okposo traveled with the team for its game in Boston on Thursday and had been hopeful to suit up against Chicago.
Mark Pysyk will step into the lineup on defense in place of Casey Fitzgerald, who was reassigned to Rochester on Friday morning. Fitzgerald will play for the Amerks, who are fighting for a playoff spot, in their season finale tonight.

4. Bouncing back

The Sabres are seeking to rebound from a 5-0 loss to the Bruins on Thursday, which snapped a four-game winning streak.

5. Scouting the Blackhawks

The Sabres won their previous meeting with the Blackhawks in memorable fashion, erasing a four-goal deficit before winning on Tage Thompson's broken-stick one-timer with 10.6 seconds remaining in regulation.
Chicago enters the rematch having won its last three games. Patrick Kane leads the team with 92 points and 66 assists while Alex DeBrincat has a team-best 41 goals.
